A vintage maroon velvet Bulova man's watch box with gilt mounts c1930s. This 4-7/8" x 3-1/4" box has a mount for a man's Bulova wristwatch, a velvet and shiny material liner, and a gold stamp saying BULOVA CANADA'S FINEST TIMEPIECES. It has a BULOVA name impressed into the front of the case (we're not sure if it has a metal nameplate or if it was impressed as it appears). The gilt brass feet retain their gilding, and this case is in very good original condition with no corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor fraying of the velvet at the mount, the tearing of the shiny material which links the top and bottom (still present), and some rubs to the nap on the upper edges of the outer case. An EYMC sterling silver music award fob 1927 with a ribbon pin brooch. This vintage 1927 sterling silver award watch fob pendant is on the original red, white and blue silk ribbon pin. This 1-3/8" x 1-1/8" singing music award has high relief music symbols on the front and the engraved dedication on the back; it says E.Y.M.C. 1927 SOPRANO SOLO 1ST PRIZE WON BY PAULINE NICHOLLS. E.Y.M.C. may represent an award presented at the former East York High School (now East York Collegiate institute) of Toronto. This school opened in 1927. It has the maker's mark BAILEY RD. 26 STERLING, the pin is a brass safety pin, and it weighs 10.5 grams. A Cunard Queen Elizabeth I ship tie clip 1930s. This gilt brass and celluloid 2-3/4" tie clip dates to 1938-40 and it depicts the Cunard steamship liner Queen Elizabeth I. Launched in 1938, the QEI was retrofitted for the war effort in 1940, and relaunched in 1946. She was taken out of service as a luxury liner in 1968. This clip features a 5/8" x 1/2" celluloid view of the ship, with Queen Elizabeth written below the ship, and it is in excellent original condition with no cracks, scrapes, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs; there is a slight patina of fine scratches visible (when looked at under a 10X loupe) on the celluloid, but these are not otherwise visible or noticeable. An Ellis sterling silver butterfly wing tie bar circa 1910 - 1920 in a vintage case. This Edwardian vintage 2-3/4" x 5/8" tiebar has a central butterfly wing decoration under glass. It is stamped ENGLAND on the back and it tests as sterling silver. It comes in a period satin and velvet fitted Ellis Bros. box from Toronto (later bought out by Birks).
