A fine and vintage Scandinavian sterling silver pair of fish servers mady by the Finnish firm of Miettinen + Nurmi (1947-60). This pair has the date stamp for 1959 and 813H and the maker's mark. The 6-3/8" long fork comes with the matching 7-1/4" long fish knife. Unusually, both the blade and handle are also .813 silver, and this set has never been monogrammed. A sterling silver cigarette case with an enamel crest from the Royal Canadian Air Force hallmarked 1937. This vintage classic silver case an engine-turned design and a triple F monogram (probably presented to a World War I soldier) and it retains all of the original interior gilding. The original cigarette retaining spring is present but typically slightly stretched. It is fully hallmarked for Birmingham England 1937 and it weighs 97.9 grams. It has the maker's mark for Samuel M. Levi Ltd. The interior guard spring for the cigarettes is still present, but a bit stretched at each end. The case closes shut firmly and is aligned, but please note there is a slight bowing in the middle. This is likely an easy fix, even an at-home one. This item is in otherwise excellent vintage condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A Roden (Birks) sterling 1930s napkin ring with an N monogram by Roden Bros, Toronto. Roden was bought out by Birks in 1928. This 3/4" wide sterling napkin ring measures 2" x 1-1/2" across the interior and it has lined decoration. It has a rubbed STERLING mark with the Roden maker's mark. Birks bought all Roden's inventory and parts and molds, and the Roden mark can be seen on some Birks silver items until several decades after. It weighs 19.2 grams and it is in excellent vintage condition with no breaks, bends, corrosion, losses, or repairs. It had the expected patina from use and some very tiny edge dents on upper rim, visible upon very close inspection. A Queensland Bulldog Club award sterling silver cream & sugar 1916. This sterling silver creamer and sugar was given as an award for the Queensland Bulldog Club Championship of 1916. This is fully hallmarked for Sheffield England 1915-16. It consists of the 5" from handle to handle open sugar bowl and the matching creamer. Each piece retains their original interior gilding and they both have the Chester mark for 1915; the sugar bowl has the maker's mark for Joseph and Richard Griffin (est. 1915-16). This set was obtained from an Australian who brought it to Canada, and we are fairly sure that Q.B.C. refers to the Queensland Bulldog Club, a dog club founded in 1915.
