A 19thC Scottish banded onyx sterling silver pin brooch 1850-80. This 2-7/8 x 7/8" lozenge-shaped pin has the original c-clasp; the silver border is unmarked but tests as silver (the pin itself is silver plated). This item is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than a small loss to the hand-mounted bezel and a tiny flake on the edge of the onyx (see images). All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use. Expedited tracked insured shipping to the U.S. starts at $22 (other spots may vary, air is higher) - tracking and insurance are included in shipping quotes.
