An Art Nouveau Scottish sterling silver thistle pin with an amber crystal c1900. Beloved by Arts and Crafts fans, this pin has both Art Nouveau as well as A&C style. Made and signed by Charles Horner (1837-96), this 1-3/4 x 5/8" bar or tie pin has a safety pin style catch and it is stamped STERLNG C.H. It weighs 2.4 grams, and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
