An English sterling silver mustard pot dated 1920. This vintage fully hallmarked English sterling silver 2-3/8" tall footed round mustard pot with a handle was made in Chester in 1920-21. This table serving item has a hinged lid and a slot for a mustard spoon, and it has the original cobalt blue glass liner. It has a WV&S maker's mark for William Vale & Sons (registered 1895) and it has a weighted base for stability (with some later felt on the bottom). This item is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a small penpoint dent near the top rim and expected patination from use. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
