A Victorian 12k genuine turquoise and diamonds ring circa 1890 1900. This antique size 2-3/4 or 2.75 yellow gold ring measures 3/4" x 1/4" across the top. It is mostly unmarked but has been tested. It may have been sized down in the past, which means sometimes original stamps are lost. The turquoise cabochons gem stones are genuine Persian turquoise. It has a stylized X mark, and the five genuine diamonds range from 2.5 to 6-7 points in the centre (approximate weight 17-18 points) in setting measured by gauge. It is probable these 1910-20s cut diamonds are a later replacement for the original pearls, which frequently were worn or damaged in pieces this age. This ring weighs 1.8 grams, and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than the diamond replacements. An Edwardian 10k 14k birds and heart seed pearls lavaliere necklace circa 1900 1910. This classy and elegant 18-3/8" necklace features three flying birds, one of which is mounted on a heart with a star suspended from it. The seed pearls spread throughout the 2-1/2 - 1-1/8" central drop are quite attractive and the drop is stamped 10K. The contemporary rope twist chains are replacements and they are unmarked but test as 14k gold, and they have a barrel clasp. This fine necklace weighs 5.3 grams and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than the chain replacement. A Satsuma lobed plate with hand painted chrysanthemums bamboo and a pair of birds circa 1900. This antique small dish measures 5" across and has typical fine gold decoration over the work and a notched or lobed gold trimmed edge. It has a signature on the back, and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, scrapes, losses, damage or repairs; it has some fine overall crazing, which is not unusual with Satsuma pottery. This English bone china cup and saucer have the Derby mark with the year cypher for 1906; the saucer also has the 06 date impressed under the glaze. An Edwardian enamel miniature stand-up picture frame circa 1910 1920. This antique tiny picture frame measures 1-5/8" x 1-1/4" and features green baisse-taille enamel over copper. It has a support strut with traces of silver plating, so it most likely was silver plated originally. Likely Czechoslovakian in origin, but it is unsigned (Czechoslovakia was part of the Austro-Hungarian empire before 1919) It has a crackled instant relative photo under a celluloid window, but we will remove it if you prefer. It is in otherwise excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than the loss of the silver plating and several cracks in the old yellowed celluloid window. A Wallace Nutting An Elaborate Dinner signed photo. This unframed hand coloured and signed photograph print is by Wallace Nutting who was famous for his tinted photos, and those in our listings are all sought after interior scenes. This 9-3/8" X 7-3/8" photo is mounted on a signed 9-1/2" X 8-1/4" mat and it is titled "An Elaborate Dinner", and it is copyrighted 1909. The signature and title is in pencil rather than in pen, which is more common on early Nuttings, and far rarer than the pen signatures. All of the Nuttings listed have the light coloured reverse copyright mark and date in the image, also something usually seen on the earlier Nuttings. This photo retains its bright colours and it is in mostly excellent condition for unframed with no tears, scrapes, fading, bends, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor light coloured spotting on the upper of the photo, moisture or foxing. The mats are a light yellowed tone as may usually be seen with matting of this age and this one has a 1/2" tear below the first N in dinner. We don't ordinarily see unframed Wallace Nutting prints, so cannot say whether the mat has been trimmed, it may well have been. An Edwardian antique period sterling silver necklace with Swiss lapis (dyed blue quartz or jasper) and marquisites circa 1910 1920. This elegant lavaliere style necklace measures 16-7/8" long and the sterling chain has fine squared loop links. The central 1-5/8" x 1-3/8" oval medallion is flanked by two oval 1" x 5/8" panels, both with inset marcasites. This vintage size 6-1/4 or 6.25 ring is stamped 14 K with a makers's mark, and what looks like OPHELIA ROSE (no doubt the name of the jewellery line). It measures just under 1/16" wide (approximate 1.5mm) and is almost as deep as it is wide, which was fairly common on wedding bands of this style and age. An Indonesian Yogya .800 silver tea strainer. This 5-3/4" long pierced tea server features a prettily engraved figure from the traditional Indonesian Wayang Kulit (shadow) theatre. It weighs 27.9 grams and it has a twisted stem and a tab for holding it onto the glass or cup. An Art Deco period 14k white gold filigree ring with the original rectangular cut synthetic ruby stone circa 1920s. Fine rubies were could be difficult to buy at times and good quality synthetic gems (called lab created rubies now, they were made from genuine stones) were commonly used. As they were usually made from white topaz or sapphires, they have excellent sparkle and durabilty, and usually stand up to wear as well as the real stones. This vintage size 4-1/2 or 4.5 ring weighs 3.3 grams and It is stamped 14 K. Great gift for someone born in July, or just someone who likes beautiful white gold filigree settings. An Art Deco period 19k white gold wedding band circa 1920s. This size 5-1/2 or size 5.5 women's wedding ring is stamped 19 K and FORGET ME NOT and it is slightly over 1/16" wide, or a hair over 2mm wide. It weighs 2.5 grams and it has a fine engraved design. It is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. It is consistent in shape with no thin areas. It would also work nicely with a vintage platinum engagement ring. While the key stamp was used by more than one firm, the Forget Me Not line was produced by Saunders, Lorie and Co., of Toronto, Canada. According to D. Rainwater (American Jewelry Manufacturers, Schiffer Publishing) their advertisements were found from 1897 until 1922. Their production period may have been slightly longer than that.
