A wonderful Art deco Industrial design black bakelite and aluminum bar pin c1930. This 3-7/8" pin consists of a black black bakelite round rod capped with machined turned round aluminum balls. An Art Deco Danecraft deer in the woods sterling pin from the 1930s-1940s. This great vintage sterling silver 2-1/8" x 1-3/4" brooch depicts a deer feeding in the forest. This pin features a safety catch, a true Deco style, and it is stamped STERLING with an HB maker's mark, and a somewhat scratched out Danecraft mark can be seen. Not sure how long this mark was used, but we have seen this combination on a few older Danecraft pieces. Possibly Danecraft purchased some older stock from another manufacturer when it was first starting up?? The original colour of this bangle would have almost surely been a mauve or light purple colour, but vintage Bakelite does usually alter in colour over the years, so the colour is now a warm toffee cinnamon brown shade. This bangle measures 3/16" wide and 3/16" thick, and the interior wall to wall measurement is 2-9/16" across.
