A late Victorian size 9 ring with garnets and diamonds c1890-1900. This ring features three garnets with 4 mine cut natural diamonds between them; this ring measures 11/16 x 5/16" across the top. It is stamped 14K with an unidentified maker's mark and the gold tends towards a rose gold colour. A scarce and unusual Victorian sterling silver and gold Mizpah bracelet c1870-90 (they are sometimes also referred to as Luckenbooth bracelets). This unmarked piece of sentimental Victorian jewellery features a spring-style bangle configuration mounted with the attached hearts under a bow, with yellow gold engraved flowers and rose gold leaves on textured silver tendrils. This unusual Victorian period bracelet measures 2-1/2" x 2-1/4" across the interior and 5/8" across the heart and ribbon. There is a retaining pin at the bottom of one heart to lock the bangle closed in place, it weighs 9.5 grams, and this item is in very good condition with no bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than two dents on one heart and on one edge of the bracelet and a bit of flattening near the bottom. A stylish antique Victorian period large Neoclassical style hair / mourning brooch c1860-70. This 2" x 1-1/2" pin features the multilayered effect found in Victorian high-style jewellery, and it has great gold appliques and fine ropework. It features two braids of blonde and brown hair under the original glass, which retains its original bezel. One plait is small and chestnut brown and tied with a pink ribbon, the other larger one is blonde with grey. This 2-3/8" x 1-3/4" brooch has very finely hand engraved and stippled leaves with superb detail with a fine 7.2 mm pearl in the center. A mid-Victorian 2-1/4 x 1-7/8" reverse painted Essex crystal brooch c1850s-60s. This pin features a rolled gold plated setting with the original long c-clasp and pin. The reverse carved and hand painted flowers have silver paint (with some oxidation on a few of the flowers) and the crystal is bevelled. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs, however there is a small 3/8" segment of the bezel metal missing along one edge. There is an internal glass flaw which appears as a line across the crystal, but this can't be felt on the top of the crystal or seen on the painted underside and it is not a crack. It is barely visible under natural or room lights, however it shows up under our halogens (see picture).
