A 51" glass bead and faux pearl hippie necklace c1960s. This necklace features blue and teal glass beads with clear glass spacers, the widest of which measures 3/8" wide. It has faux pearls and matte silver coloured beads as well. An EYMC sterling silver music award fob 1927 with a ribbon pin brooch. This vintage 1927 sterling silver award watch fob pendant is on the original red, white and blue silk ribbon pin. This 1-3/8" x 1-1/8" singing music award has high relief music symbols on the front and the engraved dedication on the back; it says E.Y.M.C. 1927 SOPRANO SOLO 1ST PRIZE WON BY PAULINE NICHOLLS. E.Y.M.C. may represent an award presented at the former East York High School (now East York Collegiate institute) of Toronto. This school opened in 1927. It has the maker's mark BAILEY RD. 26 STERLING, the pin is a brass safety pin, and it weighs 10.5 grams. A signed BJL marcasites with blue and green enamel peacock brooch circa 1950s 1960. This vintage 2" x 1" rhodium plated and marquisite figural pin ihas excellent detail. Research as far as we have found has indicated a Canadian maker, and we have run across a few pieces before marked this way, but still looking for details. This ornate bird brooch has a safety clasp, it is signed BJL, and the enamel is bright with royal and cobalt blue, emerald green, orange and yellow. Possibly Austrian, this unsigned pin measures 2-1/4" x 1-3/4" and it has gold plated filigree openwork "wings" and a safety catch. The stones include a huge faceted topaz coloured unfoiled crystal, champagne and cinnamon brown rhinestones and a teardrop cabochon crystal. An interesting antique silver plated pinioned-lid stamp box c1880-1890. This 2-5/8" x 1-1/2" unsigned box features a floral corner applique and two applied butterflies on the top, a pin stop and corner swinging pivot. The interior has remnants of what appears to be adhesive from some missing material and it has two cutout felt pieces; it would make a nice tiny jewel box also.
