An early to mid 19th century turned yew (or fruit) wood covered gaming cup with 9 hand carved and painted bone die c1820-50. The box retains some of its original red stain and it measures 2-1/8" tall and 1-1/4" across the top. The dice are also 19th century vintage, and measure 3/8" (largest), 5/16" (medium) and the remaining seven are 1/4" across.
