This necklace has a tag which says MADE IN U.S.A. which exactly resembles the tags used by Vogue jewellery of New York (1936-77?). A signed Danecraft sterling silver 16-1/4" long and 1/2" wide necklace and the matching 2" x 1-3/8" brooch, both with an acorn and oak leaf motif. Each is gilt, and the necklace has a gilt silver or brass spring-ring catch and the pin has a safety catch. A signed BJL marcasites with blue and green enamel peacock brooch circa 1950s 1960. This vintage 2" x 1" rhodium plated and marquisite figural pin ihas excellent detail. Research as far as we have found has indicated a Canadian maker, and we have run across a few pieces before marked this way, but still looking for details. This ornate bird brooch has a safety clasp, it is signed BJL, and the enamel is bright with royal and cobalt blue, emerald green, orange and yellow. An E A Bliss gold plated buckle design sash brooch circa 1895. This hand engraved pin measures 3-1/8" x 1-5/8" and has the original c-clasp. It has the company mark of the EA Bliss company of New York (est. 1875). This company later became Napier. Sash pins were quite popular at the end of the Victorian era, with some fine Art Nouveau designs also. This lovely oval piece is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs, just some moderate patina.
