An Art Deco red bakelite with pink rhinestones bangle bracelet from the 1920s. The original colour of this bangle would have almost surely been a mauve or light purple colour, but vintage Bakelite does usually alter in colour over the years, so the colour is now a warm toffee cinnamon brown shade. This bangle measures 3/16" wide and 3/16" thick, and the interior wall to wall measurement is 2-9/16" across. An attractive mid-Victorian mourning brooch c1860-80. It is a pressed horn with a dark resinous/lacquer finish to resemble jet or bog oak (which was a semi-petrified and preserved wood from the marshy bogs of Ireland, less common even in the 19th century, so also imitated). This 1-5/8" x 1" pin features a high relief flower spray; it has the original brass c-clasp. This piece of mourning jewelry is in excellent original condition with no cracks, losses, damage or repairs except a small edge flake. Essex crystal features an intaglio carved crystal stone with reverse painting, and in this case the scene is a metallic lustre butterfly flanked by cherry blossoms in pink and green. A signed Coro green rhinestone pin & earrings in the original box circa 1960s. It features green, dark amber and aurora borealis rhinestones in pin and matching clip-on earrings and this set in the original box. This set consists of the 2-1/4" x 1-1/4" pin with safety catch and the two 7/8" x 1/2" clip-on earrings. The settings are gold plated, and each piece is unsigned. The original box is gold wrapped cardstock with a textured silk-style top with printed logo and ribbon; it also has the plush fitted interior stage and the stand up original Coro $3.00 price tab. The beautiful quality brilliant cherry red unfoiled cut glass stones and the centre white round antique cut rhinestone are riveted (they spin) onto the delicate brass filigree back. The colour is deeper and more sparkling than they appear in our unfortunate pictures... There is a a two spike coat clip behind this, and it measures 1 13/16" across.
