A fine vintage Arts and Crafts necklace c1910, consisting of a finely carved bone 1-1/2" x 1-18" roses pendant and a contemporary 15" triple-strand white glass bead necklace with springring catch. The unsigned pendant is suspended from a carved 3/4" bone bale, and it was common in this era to combine the natural and manmade in pieces such as this; it is likely that this necklace and pendant were original to each other. This item is in very good original condition with no cracks, corrosion, damage or repairs other than the possible loss of one petal on the lower rose. The flag pin measures 1-1/8 x 1" and the Institute measures 1-1/4 x 1-1/8"; each is on brass and the lake scene is marked CZECHOSLOVALIA.
