An Art Deco Danecraft deer in the woods sterling pin from the 1930s-1940s. This great vintage sterling silver 2-1/8" x 1-3/4" brooch depicts a deer feeding in the forest. This pin features a safety catch, a true Deco style, and it is stamped STERLING with an HB maker's mark, and a somewhat scratched out Danecraft mark can be seen. Not sure how long this mark was used, but we have seen this combination on a few older Danecraft pieces. Possibly Danecraft purchased some older stock from another manufacturer when it was first starting up?? A 1930s Mexican sterling three butterfly swag or sweater brooch. This unusual vintage Mexican sterling pin is in the form of three chain-linked butterflies with glass turquoise cabochons and dates to the 1930s. This pin has three different sized butterflies (all with their own pins on back), with the largest 1-7/8" across and the smallest 1-3/8". A wonderful Art deco Industrial design black bakelite and aluminum bar pin c1930. This 3-7/8" pin consists of a black black bakelite round rod capped with machined turned round aluminum balls. An Art Deco 1930s brass bells necklace and matching earrings set. This nifty vintage set consists of the 15-3/4" necklace with a double row of bells and the matching three-bell screw-back earrings with green glass cabochon stones. The necklace has a later gold-plated extension on each end with a scissors clasp; these can be removed if desired to restore it to its original choker length. A 9k gold synthetic or lab-created Alexandrite ring circa 1940s. This vintage size 7 retro ring is yellow gold and it has a round facetted claw-set created solitaire Alexandrite stone. This ring weighs 5.6 grams, it measures 3/4" at the widest and 1/2" across the stone. The stone measures 12 mm across and is approximately 7mm deep (measured in setting), so is approximately 7.25 carats in size. It is marked 9CT and has a maker's mark of CJM. No year mark, possibly removal due to a ring sizing. These simulated alexandrites are usually corundum laced with vanadium to produce the color change under different types of lighting, or a treated colourless chrysoberyl. This created gemstone has been around for almost 100 years, and the stones usually test as corundums or sapphires on a gem tester (natural genuine alexandrites are expensive and uncommon, most of what you will see for sale is the simulated version). This stone color variation is primarily purple-to-blue. It is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs.
