A signed BJL marcasites with blue and green enamel peacock brooch circa 1950s 1960. This vintage 2" x 1" rhodium plated and marquisite figural pin ihas excellent detail. Research as far as we have found has indicated a Canadian maker, and we have run across a few pieces before marked this way, but still looking for details. A fine quality Chinese carved and coloured bone scrimshaw brooch in an ornate filigree gilt silver setting c1920s-30s. This 1-1/2" x 1-1/4" pin has a safety catch and it is marked MADE IN CHINA SILVER; the scene is of flying birds with flowers and branches. Country of origin is almost certainly Germany, and this 17-1/4" bracelet is 1/4" wide; the clear white round paste stones sparkle beautifully. The twin rows are channel-set and have pins linking each segment, beautifully made and finished.
