A Vermont US Glass custart toothpick holder circa 1899. This scarce vintage 2-3/4" custard glass toothpick holder is in the Vermont or Honeycomb with Flower Band or Inverted Thumbprint Daisy Band pattern, issued by US Glass c1899. This example is in the custard glass colour, and is a US Glass original period piece, not a reproduction. It has crisply molded detail on the band, rim and on the feet; the honeycomb design is on the interior. A 19thC Royal Copenhagen white bisque porcelain plaque with cherubs circa 1860 1880. This antique Danish 6" x 4-7/8" wall has a detailed scen of cheubic figures helping to gather and crush grapes. It is marked ENERET EB on the back with the three blue lines Copenhagen mark. This item is in very good condition with no crazing, losses, damage or repairs other than some original firing lines/cracks cracks on the top and bottom edges which are original to the manufacture of the piece and two small edge chips on the right hand edge. There are a number of American silversmiths/firms with the name Davis, also a Toronto manufacturing firm of that name. It could possibly also refer to a retailer. A Gorham sterling silver miniature chamber stick or candle holder dated 1891. This Victorian era ornate chamberstick stands 1-5/8" high and it measures 3-3/8" across the base. It is stamped with the lion/anchor/G mark, along with STERLING 181 and the year cypher for 1891. Although a dainty size, these small candle holders sat on a writing deak or in a travel writing desk, as they had the practical use of melting sealing wax for an envelope or document. A late Victorian c1890-1900 moulded 5-1/2" milk glass vase with a high relief scene of a Dutch mother and child at the seashore or lake. The child carries a small sailboat and this unsigned vase has blue sprayed on colour. An attractive blue & white dinner plate by Royal Worcester (England). It is covered with Oriental motifs, which was quite popular in English china in the 1870s. It is date stamped for 1876 and measures 10 3/8" across. It is in excellent overall condition, but does show signs of use - there are cut marks on the plate, and the glaze shows darker/brownish at the edges where the glaze appears to have been more thinly applied. A matching set of three Daisy and Button pattern early American pattern or pressed glass (EAPG) cruets consisting of a 3" salt and a 3" pepper shaker plus a 3-3/4" hinged-lid mustard pot. The colours include yellow, amber and ice blue and all pieces retain their original metal lids. A large and heavy 8-1/2" Georgian Dublin sterling silver dinner fork, hallmarked for 1829. This heavy fork has an attractive double dolphin crest on the back of the handle and has the maker's mark for Matthew West and Peter Moore. Antique Irish silver is far scarcer than English, and this fork is a great find. This item is in excellent condition, with no dents, bends, monograms, wear, scratches, corrosion, repairs or damage other than some very light scoring on the extreme bottom ends of the tines from use.
