A Victorian rolled gold plate crystal spider brooch tie pin circa 1880s. This vintage late Victorian period 2-5/8" long pin has a 7/8" spider with an amber crystal body and amber paste head. This pin has a safety-pin type catch, it is stamped ROLLED GOLD and there appears to be a small 87 and the letter S. It is also stamped W.Bs on the clasp. It is in good vintage condition with no cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a chip at the inner side of the large crystal (near the head) some tarnish and touches of slight wear to the plating.
