This scarce serving platter sized pierced drainer is in the English ironstone transferware pattern Khyber Hawthorn, issued c1875-80 by Podmore & Walker / Wedgwood & Co. The unsigned pendant is suspended from a carved 3/4" bone bale, and it was common in this era to combine the natural and manmade in pieces such as this; it is likely that this necklace and pendant were original to each other.
