An antique Austro-Hungarian or German 1-7/8" x 1-1/4" perfume flask or bottle c1880s-1900. It has an ornate, high relief silver plated floral design overlay, showing the Art Nouveau influence. This unsigned and excellent quality purse perfume bottle has a chain on the lid (but no stopper) along with an engraved name we can't make out. A chariote sterling pin signed Aidan Toronto. This fine studio .925 sterling silver 2-5/8 x 1-1/2" pendant pin features a Charoite stone. Charoite is a rare mineral found in Russia and introduced in 1978 (named for the Chara river). It has an unusual lavender purple swirl appearance and the silver mount accents this movement. This pin is signed AIDAN TORONTO HANDMADE SILVER 925, and it has a safety catch as well a loop for wear as a pendant and another loop for wear horizontally. A scarce 4-1/4" vintage late 1930s-mid 1940s Mary Grayo stoppered glass fur perfume bottle with the original label. This company was in business in Monte Carlo for a very short time, from the late 1930s to the mid-1940s. The label has losses but the Mary Grayo name is mostly quite legible; the bottle is molded with a 45 on the bottom. It has remnants of the original perfume, which must have smelled wonderful in its day. Mary Grayo perfumes seem in most cases to be designed to be worn when wearing a fur coat, to prevent the natural scent of fur coats from being obvious - many of the perfumes they produced refer to specific types of fur (silver fox, beaver, etc.). This is the first Mary Grayo perfume bottle we have owned, previously only have seen the company advertising. This bottle is in fair condition with no chips, cracks, damage or repairs other than the losses, split and fading to the label and the loss of the dabbing rod on the stopper. A lovely early 19th century sterling silver & paste belt buckle. This 2-7/8" x 1-3/8" buckle features antique hand cut clear paste stones, and the central pinion hinged section swings either way, with three teeth to hold the belt opening and the section that holds the belt end has three shallower teeth to secure the other end of the belt. They are both secured to the centre of the belt but are made so each moves independently of the other. It is a substantial and very well constructed piece, and still retains traces of its original gilding on the back of the buckle. It is not marked, which was fairly common, but has been tested & is guaranteed to be sterling grade silver. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, losses, corrosion, repairs or damage. A few of the paste stones have very minute surface edge abrasions, as may be expected, but none are serious or detract from the appearance of the buckle, and generally require a loupe to see, but without the loupe it appears in astonishingly great condition. The two windows on the locket show the gold from both sides; the nuggets weigh 0.8 grams. An Edwardian pot metal paste bangle 1910-1920. This vintage 5/16" wide paste rhinestone hinged bangle is made of dull grey pot metal (brightened in our pictures), and it has dozens of claw-set antique cut paste rhinestones. Paste of this era was less sparkly than later versions and glinted like antique cut diamonds in low lighting conditions (such as at night). It has a double-button box clasp and it is unsigned, and it measures 2-3/8 x 2-1/16" across the interior.
