A vintage block printed fabric wall hanging by the Canadian Inuit artist Agnes Nanogak Goose (1925-2001). This highly regarded Holman artist was famous for her ink drawings and as a print maker, and she also produced block printed textiles, including cotton burlap. She was the first Inuit artist to receive and honorary degree from Mt. St. Vincent university. This wall hanging measures 24" x 14-3/4". The is not including the 52" tie cord - it is in the same colour fabric, perhaps the hanging had a wood rod originally, we don't know. It appears to be in excellent vintage condition with no stains, tears, losses, damage or repairs. A Chinese cinnabar & enamel floral dress clip circa 1900. This nice quality antique 3-3/4" x 1" Chinese cinnabar and multicolour enamel floral dress clip features a filigree silver setting with a spring-hinged long dress clip clasp; it has a toothed rake at the end to hold it to the fabric. It may have originally been a brooch or some other decoration, these pieces were sometimes converted to dress clips after 1910, and the clip section doesn't appear to be added, but may have been. A vintage sterling silver necklace with a claw-set sterling shell cameo pendant c1930s. The chain is 19-3/8" long, and the cameo pendant measures just over 1-1/2" x 3/4" (including bale). The sterling silver chain with a spring-ring catch, which is stamped 925. The cameo setting looks hand made, but is not stamped (but it tests as high grade silver). The cameo pendant has an older rhodium finish, so the chain may have been changed at some point. A red and gold Murano glass disc necklace 1930s-50s. It is a brilliant cherry color with gold sparkles that people used to refer to as mica glass. This vintage 17-1/2" length necklace has a barrel clasp and gold plated caps on the 13/16" red glass discs. This necklace is "new old stock" (NOS) and could date anywhere from the 1930s to about 1950. It is from the estate of a Toronto jeweller. Meant to hold a photo on one side and a lock of hair on the other, this pendant features beveled glass and a threaded removable bale for photo and hair insertion.
