A wonderfully styled vintage Art Deco pocket comb in green celluloid with a designed sleeve. This 4-1/2 x 1-1/8" comb is in a green celluloid, which has mellowed to an olive and light butterscotch brown colour. The comb has a checkerboard decoration with cream white squares on a green and copper metallic ground; the cover has black paint, subtle hand carving and gold highlights. Both pieces are unsigned, however we aren't sure if they started life together or not, although they fit together well (the decoration is different on each piece). A Victorian Aesthetic sterling & 2 colour gold brooch. This fine quality Victorian period round engraved sterling brooch has applied engraved leaves in pink and green gold and it dates to the 1875-85 era. This 1-3/8" elegant Aesthetic design pin is unsigned but tests as sterling, and it features balls around the perimeter, a ridged border and central hand engraving. The textured and engraved leaves in gold are applied sections of sheet gold, and this pin closes with a c-clasp. An unusual unmarked (but tested) Egyptian sterling salt spoon with a dhow and palm tree niello enamel scene on the handle. Niello is a process where black enamel is applied and fired onto a hollowed out scene. A late Victorian/Edwardian opalescent and black glass necklace c1900. This 17" strung necklace consists of oval opalescent glass beads with orange fire strung with round black glass beads and clear glass spacer beads. The black beads have an unusual metallic finish, and all beads are hand blown. It has been restrung (some time ago) and it has a silver plated springring catch (minor losses to plating). A splendid, well made vintage 1950s crystal and rhinestone gold plated fly pin. Possibly Austrian, this unsigned pin measures 2-1/4" x 1-3/4" and it has gold plated filigree openwork "wings" and a safety catch. The stones include a huge faceted topaz coloured unfoiled crystal, champagne and cinnamon brown rhinestones and a teardrop cabochon crystal. All are closed back and claw set except the unfoiled central crystal. A wild vintage 1950s-60s glass multistrand spring bangle or bracelet with glass beads. This bracelet is reminiscent of the style of Miriam Haskell, and it has painted gold, yellow/clear paperweight style and white wafer glass beads on spring steel wires. It has unusual drops comprising gold, white and green loaf-shaped beads wired onto a gilt platform mounted on the coils. It measures 1-1/4" across at rest (it will fit much larger wrists) and 3/4" across; the drops extend 1". This 2-7/8" x 2-1/4" hand made buckle weighs 1.25 ounces, and it has an AT over 64 maker's mark, the lion passant silver purity mark, Minerva head mark, and the letter mark for 1864. This item has an overall measurement of 2-15/16" x 2-3/16", and it has an inner or belt measurement of 2" x 1-3/8". A Royal Worcester blue and green floral design pedestal cake stand with the Worcester year date mark for 1913. This antique 8-1/2" diameter English bone china small cake stand is 1-3/4" tall. The design consists of green flowers with blue leaves and tendrils in a blue traditional Asian square plant-pot. It has an inner border-design, also in green. It also has a British registry number of 546206, indicating the design was registered in in Britain in 1909. Replacements.com calls this design RW7. Our stand has no underside number (if there at all, such numbers were usually on English china for stores to use in ordering the china). This item is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, staining, repairs or damage other than some slight flecks to the green upper rim paint trim and some very minor cut marks, only a few of which slightly affect the design.
