A fine quality elegant etched glass water pitcher c1910-20. This lovely quality blown glass 8-1/4" tall pitcher has an applied handle, and it features a fine etched Arts and Crafts style motif with subtle vertical ribbing. The pontil is smoothly polished. We have had stemware previously in this pattern, which we have been unable to identify (can you help?). This pitcher is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, scratches, crazing, staining, repairs or damage. The fine white spots and lines and flashes are artifacts of the photography, and are not present in real life - it is in clear and excellent condition. A fine quality Chinese carved and coloured bone scrimshaw brooch in an ornate filigree gilt silver setting c1920s-30s. This 1-1/2" x 1-1/4" pin has a safety catch and it is marked MADE IN CHINA SILVER; the scene is of flying birds with flowers and branches. The black and orange of the flowers is mostly intact however the green of the leaves and branches has faded, and this item is in good original condition with no chips, cracks, scrapes, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than the fading of the green colour and a tiny crack in one extreme corner. A sterling silver cigarette case with an enamel crest from the Royal Canadian Air Force hallmarked 1937. This vintage classic silver case an engine-turned design and a triple F monogram (probably presented to a World War I soldier) and it retains all of the original interior gilding. The original cigarette retaining spring is present but typically slightly stretched. It is fully hallmarked for Birmingham England 1937 and it weighs 97.9 grams. It has the maker's mark for Samuel M. Levi Ltd. The interior guard spring for the cigarettes is still present, but a bit stretched at each end. The case closes shut firmly and is aligned, but please note there is a slight bowing in the middle. This is likely an easy fix, even an at-home one. This item is in otherwise excellent vintage condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A Roden (Birks) sterling 1930s napkin ring with an N monogram by Roden Bros, Toronto. Roden was bought out by Birks in 1928. This 3/4" wide sterling napkin ring measures 2" x 1-1/2" across the interior and it has lined decoration. It has a rubbed STERLING mark with the Roden maker's mark. Birks bought all Roden's inventory and parts and molds, and the Roden mark can be seen on some Birks silver items until several decades after. It weighs 19.2 grams and it is in excellent vintage condition with no breaks, bends, corrosion, losses, or repairs. It had the expected patina from use and some very tiny edge dents on upper rim, visible upon very close inspection. An original Rumrill Indian Group orange and bay glaze vase. This great looking, authentic and vintage signed RumRill 5-1/2" tall American art pottery bulbous vase c1935-39 has a crimped star-shaped rim and a tan interior, and it is in the Indian Group line with the orange and bay glaze. It has a 309 style number and the vintage RumRill signature, and the orange and brown glaze is superbly applied, giving this example a great look reminiscent of the (much later) German art pottery of the 1950s and 1960s. A vintage maroon velvet Bulova man's watch box with gilt mounts c1930s. This 4-7/8" x 3-1/4" box has a mount for a man's Bulova wristwatch, a velvet and shiny material liner, and a gold stamp saying BULOVA CANADA'S FINEST TIMEPIECES. It has a BULOVA name impressed into the front of the case (we're not sure if it has a metal nameplate or if it was impressed as it appears). The gilt brass feet retain their gilding, and this case is in very good original condition with no corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor fraying of the velvet at the mount, the tearing of the shiny material which links the top and bottom (still present), and some rubs to the nap on the upper edges of the outer case. A fine vintage Art Deco style 6-3/4" step sided .800 silver wine slide or coaster. This item was used to slide bottles of wine along the table (most had wood bottoms with felt or fabric). This one is stamped A800 with an A (bee or figure) C maker's mark. This mark was used in Belgium on silver articles after 1942, we have been unable to identify the maker as yet. It weighs an impressive 173.3 grams, and it is in very good condition with no monograms, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a dent on the bottom and a patina from use.
