An individual sterling silver egg cup with Birmingham 1937 hallmarks. This vintage 2-9/16" tall sterling eggcup is a simple design, and has a J monogram engraved on the f side. It has a swirled brown celluloid base cover covering the weighted base. It has a A.S.P Co. mark for the Angora Silver Plate Co. Ltd who were in Birmingham and in London. It weighs 34.9 gr. and it is in very good condition with no breaks, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs, but please note that the base has a very slight surface denting which makes it appear a little out of the round - please see picture.
