A Moritz Elimeyer 900 silver brandy pan or measure, probably dating to the late 19th century. This elegant antique silver piece has a twist decoration and interior gilding. It is 5-1/4" in length with the bowl measuring 2-5/8 across the rim with a depth of 1-1/4". It has the company and German post 1886 silver marks of ELIMEYER 900 with an S with crossed hammers Dresden maker's mark and the German post 1886 silver moon and crown. It holds approximately 2 - 2-1/2 ounces, and was used to add a little warming brandy to alleviate the chill in cold weather. It also has a crowned CL crest/monogram on the handle which appears to be a legacy mark from the 16th century House of Hanover royal monogram of Christian Louis, Duke of Brunswick-Luneburg (this item was possibly owned by a descendant). This is the same House of Hanover related to the current British royal family from the reign of George I, who was the reigning Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg when he became the king of England is 1720. A mother of pearl rgp telescoping lorgnette handle from the 1890s. This eyeglasses extending handle is made of ornate rolled gold plate and hand carved mother of pearl panels with nice colour flash. It measures 5-1/4" when closed and 9-3/8" when opened. The top is 5/8" across, the extension has a fine checkerboard pattern, and the retaining inserts for the eyeglass frame are made of tortoiseshell. The opening is 3.5 mm. and the internal span is 10 mm. A vintage North American tribal beadwork knife sheath with colourful applied beadwork on a fringed moose hide c1930s-50s. This 13-1/2" x 7-1/2" (including fringe) knife sheath has a tall loop for hanging off of a belt; the stiff applied lighter colour hide section at the front of the sheath is attached with twisted fine brass wire. It is a densely beaded item, and spells out "Jack" in white beads, and it has iridescent purple/blue, orange, dark and light green beads. It is in excellent condition with no repairs or damage; there is a loose thread and some sewing holes near the top of the loop, possibly from a now-missing small bit of bead ornamentation.
