A superb pair of true Arts and Crafts stoneware pottery matched ewers in a rich chocolate brown colour, c1880-1900. The upper shoulders or these 7-5/8" ewers or pitchers are in a glossy glaze, and the lower body has a naturalistic matte glaze over a stippled style textured surface topped with a decorative linked band of semicircles. The glaze didn't quite flow to cover the interiors of the hand made spouts and the bottoms are unglazed. They are unsigned, but look and feel like English stoneware - fairly similar in appearance and feel to the Doulton art stoneware, or Lovett's. Their elegant straight angle handles have a look of pieces designed by Christopher Dresser, and these unsigned ewers would look great with any Arts & Crafts or modern decor. A lovely Arts and Crafts period 830 silver high relief rose Skønvirke brooch circa 1900. This antique 2-1/8" x 1-5/8" pin has a long c-clasp and it is marked simply 830. It is quite likely this piece is Scandinavian, it is entirely consistent with early Skønvirke ("beautiful work") made popular by fine Scandinavian silver makers. It greatly resembles early Bernard Hertz work, but is not signed, other than the 830 silver mark. It is typically repousse with a solid flat back, for stability, and it weighs 15.6 grams. A small and decorative handled silverplated candy or serving dish with a pressed glass bowl and a turned wood painted handle c1890. This dish stands 6" high and 5-1/4" long; it is 4-1/2" wide. A nice mid-Victorian early thermoplastic or vulcanite cameo brooch c1860-70. Made of the same medium brown thermoplastic used in the era for items such as photograph cases (and sometimes mis-described as gutta percha, and also known by the trade name of Vulcanite), this 1-7/8" x 1-1/2" brooch has fine detail, and it depicts a cameo of very high definition (she sits a full 3/8" above the surface platform). She is a classical period Greek beauty with her eyes closed and a look of rapture on her face - she looks like Penelope from the classic Greek epic myth. The platform surface is surrounded by a twisted rope border. It has a replaced pin with a safety catch, and this lovely pin is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, staining, corrosion, repairs or damage other than the pin replacement. A Royal Worcester blue and green floral design pedestal cake stand with the Worcester year date mark for 1913. This antique 8-1/2" diameter English bone china small cake stand is 1-3/4" tall. The design consists of green flowers with blue leaves and tendrils in a blue traditional Asian square plant-pot. It has an inner border-design, also in green. It also has a British registry number of 546206, indicating the design was registered in in Britain in 1909. Replacements.com calls this design RW7. Our stand has no underside number (if there at all, such numbers were usually on English china for stores to use in ordering the china). This item is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, staining, repairs or damage other than some slight flecks to the green upper rim paint trim and some very minor cut marks, only a few of which slightly affect the design.

A late Victorian/Edwardian opalescent and black glass necklace c1900. This 17" strung necklace consists of oval opalescent glass beads with orange fire strung with round black glass beads and clear glass spacer beads. The black beads have an unusual metallic finish, and all beads are hand blown. It has been restrung (some time ago) and it has a silver plated springring catch (minor losses to plating).
